HOW TO BECOME A DONOR: Complete and submit Donor Form and donation, no later than February 28, 2025. Forms and donations should be mailed to PHSF, P.O. Box 283, Wauna, WA 98395.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS: Students apply by purchasing and completing a scholarship portfolio during their senior year. In it, they provide information about their activities and accomplishments during their high school years, and their future plans. Donors review all student portfolios meeting their scholarship criteria and requirements indicated on their Donor Form. Donors make a selection of their scholarship recipient(s) after reviewing portfolios. If you prefer not to select your scholarship recipient(s), we have a team of community readers that can select the recipient for you based on your criteria and requirements.Â
Donors will be able to present their scholarship to the recipient(s) at the PHSF Scholarship Award Ceremony on May 28th, 2025 at 6:00 pm in the Peninsula High School Auditorium. We also have committee volunteers to present scholarships if you are unable to attend the award ceremony.
We greatly appreciate your consideration to become a PHSF scholarship donor. Our goal is to serve as many students as possible to reach their goals through continued education.
WHY DONATE
We are so pleased with the community support of the scholarship program at Peninsula High School. Our group of donors made it possible to award more than $400,000 in scholarships to 189 graduates from the Class of 2024. What an amazing and wonderfully generous accomplishment! Every year we have more seniors submitting portfolios. Please help us meet our goal of giving every qualifying senior, a scholarship toward their continued education. Imagine how many more students could benefit by your generosity!
Whether students choose to pursue an advanced degree through a four-year university program, choose community college as a pathway to a four-year degree, or acquire job skills through a vocational or technical education, the end goal is the same. Through your generosity, they are able to take the first steps to fulfilling their dreams.
Your active participation in this program could have a profound impact on the lives of our young graduates. Just having one person believe in them can open up a door to their future and make a world of difference. The Peninsula Hawks Scholarship Fund Committee is pleased to have so many donors attend the awards ceremony to present their scholarships in person. Your presence proves that our community supports their dreams and goals.
Together, we are building a strong future for all of us.
100% of the scholarship funds are tax deductible and go directly to the recipient’s institution. With the rising costs of higher education, your contribution is more important than ever. By increasing the amount of your donation, funding an additional scholarship, or making your scholarship renewable for two to four years, you will help touch the lives of even more students and their families.
There is nothing more exciting than the future of our youth, and nothing more rewarding than helping them get there. Please consider giving your support and being the springboard to success for our most cherished assets.
Our Donors make all the difference!
